He's also the son of an NFL coach.
I'd actually be surprised if he does come back. It doesn't even make sense to, given the circumstances.

I am still holding out hope that Toviano will return to the coach’s good graces and get to play in the secondary and also wonder where Woodland has been and if he’s healthy.
It seems like the secondary play could actually improve a little if those guys could return.

Nuss will be here again next year unless he has an out of body experience and starts throwing for 500 yards and 5 TDs a game. He is an above average QB right now. If he left after this season he would be at best a 3rd rounder. He will stay and try to improve his stock.

Nuss is making NFL throws that few other college QBs can make. He will show out at his pro-day. All he has to do to be a 1rst round pick is to continue playing like he is.

If Nuss continues on the track that hes on right now then I would agree it would be very likely he leaves while being a first round pick which would make it very interesting to see the QB battle in the Spring between him and Rickie.
If Nuss comes back still seems like the best option to let Bryce sit for a season and then not be thrown into the fire as a True Freshman. But with how he has looked so far this season I agree that it doesn't seem likely he sticks around for another season.
