The Saints will be lucky to make the wild card. Did you not learn anything from last year's 2-0 start?

Lights out defense means they closed the deal.

Not having DBS running into each other on a 3rd and 16.

They did come up with a decent amount of sacks and I like the takeaways. They just didn't get any help from the offense today.

I guess the reason I'm ticked is because the Saints had a chance to win that game and blew it. If they had just gotten their arse beat then it wouldn't have been as bad.

The eagles played a really sloppy game and overcame dumb coaching decisions and got a lot of players hurt and won by three on the road.

The Saints are probably one of the top 5 teams in the NFC…when fully healthy. But as you saw today, the roster cannot withstand key injuries. Quite literally the injury to McCoy turned the offense from looking dominant like they had in the first 2 games to completely ineffective.

The Saints have no margin for error. Carr is fine if everything else around him is operating smoothly. But he’s not good enough to overcome adversity.

Every NFL can say this, but the Saints season depends on health. The starters on offense can compete with anyone. However, the drop off on offense from starter to backup is severe.

It’s a little concerning that Kamara had 26 carries and we felt like it was a good idea to keep running when it wasn’t working. Meanwhile Olave showed zero reason we shouldn’t feed him until they stopped him. Hopefully Kubiak improves at in game adjustments as the season goes on.

What have you seen from the Falcons or Bucs that makes them the favorites? We are not great, but through 3 weeks of NFC South play, I’d say the Saints are the best.

So losing to the Eagles at home makes us the best team in the NFC?

Not there yet. Actually opening line on Philly @ Saints the Eagles were favored by a few points. Vegas was spot on but the money on Saints plus the points moved the needle to change that line to Saints favored by s few points. At this moment Philly plus points was a great pick. Turned out right. Saints are notorious for choking once everyone is all in as they are favored at home. Doesn’t take a lot of research to see this doesn’t pan out. Saints will find a way to lose, and they did. No surprises here.

Saints are not as good as you think and today proved that.

The Eagles would disagree with your assessment. They just beat us at home.

If the Saints get healthy and stay healthy they are a wild card team.

Not the best. I’m working on an NFC tier list, we’re upper middle class.
