He will make a boneheaded play or two a game but when the game is on the line he has that confidence and he is really good of moving on to next play

nice steal of CBK post game presser.
nuss is nothing lile Baker Mayfield. Mayfield is super athletic with his feet.

He threw a pick 6 that was negated by an idiotic personal foul. I'd take Baker Mayfield 10 times out of 10.

Maybe their mentality, but Baker’s legs were a HUGE part of his game that Nuss just doesn’t possess.

Baker actually scrambles for yards when needed.

Nuss is a very good QB. I’d attribute some of the route running and play design more at fault than his short comings. The offensive line and TE are sometimes pretty bad with blocking assignments too which sometimes has no rhyme or reason.

I’m pretty sure it’s Sloan & Kelly holding this offense back more than Nuss. He could run Steve Ensminger/Joe Brady’s 2019 offense very very very well.

Baker could run the ball. I think Nuss has mobility about like JB but I wonder if the coaching staff has told him not to rush the ball due to not a single decent option if Nuss goes down. If he would just pull it a few times during the game it would open up some lanes and even open up the passing game. That is the only logical reason he is not keeping the ball on the read option.

I just don’t get it. Can’t we be realistic? Can’t we tell it like it is? He had some great plays. And he did some dumb shite. He’s not a Heisman contender at the moment - a LOT of things would need to change for that. He’s not like baker mayfield. He’s not like burrow. Or Daniels. Be realistic. He had a SOLID game but shite man he threw two pick sixes in the same game!

Baker would have had at least two rushing TD's yesterday. They had zero outside contain in goal line formations yesterday

I think he compares to Brett Favre at USM. Gutsy. Let ‘em sling it. High risk and high reward.

Josh Allen but less mobile. big arm gritty but not sure he has what it takes to take over a game and play championship football.

We have not had WR like Neighbors and Thomas emerge. Makes big difference

Hilton being hurt lets the defense block off the deep ball.

Mayfield could (or would rather) make things happen with his legs.

Nuss refuses to do that even when it’s the right move.

Baker is a lot more mobile than nuss . Nuss has a much stronger arm and needs to use it
