Why am I hearing he is a top draft pick? What has he shown to be in the 1st round exactly? Seems like he would be a mess to coach.

A better prospect than Bo Nix

Similar for sure. Nix was never projected to go that high though.

Look at the shitty QB play in the NFL.
Look at the shitty QBs drafted last year.

You still need to ask why?

He can be decent, but considering nearly any team that has a top pick has a terrible offensive line, doesn't make much sense for him to go high first round.

This is true. Would he be a Michael penix pick like last year?

Not always. The Bears offensive line this season has been ranked anywhere from #8 to 13 according to what rankings you look at but Caleb Willians was still awful.

What had Anthony Richardson shown? Or Nix?

Same reason ESPN tells you Deion is a great coach. After what he’s done the last two weeks no franchise should trust this guy. Sure you could take him as a late round project but to invest in someone so unstable would be a huge mistake.

Richardson showed elite upside in college. That unbelievable throw he made Sunday, he’d done that before vs Tennessee and there’s maybe 2 other human beings who can make a throw like that.

Except Richardson isn't accure which is something you need to be successful at the next level. He's the shiny new toy in the NFL but I don't think he's going to be some elite NFL QB.

Also, Shadeur is slow as shite (not a dual threat) and slow through his progressions. He isn't a first rounder talent wise, but the NFL GM's always try to outsmart one another and give more value to QB's than they should.

I seen someone that can't mentally process the game at QB. Nobody questioned his arm talent and athleticism except maybe accuracy.

Let's say he's a top 2-3 QB in the draft.

He's got a ton of baggage. Who the frick wants to deal with Deion second guessing everything you do every week when his kid fricks up.

And who wants to draft at the top of the draft a QB who has been coddled and entitled and told he's the second coming by his narcissistic dad.

I'm not saying he won't go high, but if it's even close, I'm going with another option talent wise and not dealing with that circus.

Richardson’s mechanics have been cleaned up quite a bit since Florida and he is more accurate now. Will he ever have great accuracy, maybe not but we’ve seen players like him be elite without being super accurate.

Helps that this year seems like a 2021 type of QB prospect class

I have an idea about the NIL and future CFB stars in the NFL. Some of these dudes won't get told no at all in college because coaches are scared to lose them over hurt feelings.

Yeah, the entitlement is a huge red flag with him. But the talent is there. Remove the Sanders last name and this board wouldn't be making a deal about him.
