I always wore Lucchese boots, but I tried Tecovas when they first came out.

I know you're probably asking about the boots, but I have the Monterrey slip ons and have worn them frequently the past 2 summers. Other than a little stitching coming loose around the upper heel area, they've held up pretty good. The leather ages nicely with a little care every now and then.
Can wear them with no socks to nice dinners or to go out. They are versatile and look way better than sperrys or other loafers. I have the butterscotch cowhide but want a pair of the darker bison ones.

Have a pair I purchased in 2017. I wear them, on average, once a week, sometimes twice. I've not had problems with them, they are comfortable enough, I would buy another pair.
