She was a tough bird. I had a couple cases with her and one against her. It was always better (and a lot more fun) to be on the same side of the v.

Didn’t realize she was 80. People who continue practicing law at that age do so because they either have alimony/chile support obligations or other outstanding debts, or they genuinely enjoy practicing law. There are very few in the latter camp, but I wouldn’t be surprised if MOP was one of them.
