Have a scheduled flight out tomorrow morning approximately 7am. Anyone know how early they typically shut down inbound and outbound flights with a storm arriving

You'll be fine. Thursday flights will be screwed for the state.

Yeah I’d imagine tomorrow and most of Wednesday flights would be fine.

Whenever they deem it safe to not fly.

That early should be fine. Later in the day I could see people starting to run into issues if their plane is coming from Houston, but that should affect you that early.

Dude check your Airline App that's going to be the most accurate information.

Or atleast have a reservation for a rental vehicle as a backup.

Don't think you'll find many Airport Operation Managers on Tigerdroppings.

Really just depends on the shape of the system at that point. Wednesday is going to be a problem, but I would be at least a little nervous about flights Tuesday evening originating from Houston.

Is one of the easiest and least problematic airports I’ve ever flown in my life.

Because it basically has flights to about 7 airports. Then you play the roulette game of "will I make my connection".

I've got a Wednesday 7am flight out of MSY, and the return flight is scheduled to land back in MSY at 10am Thursday....how boned am I?

It flies to four airports not counting DC, and does so to each about five times a day. It’s a regional airport; that’s what regional airports do

I’m certainly not as frequent of a flyer as some, though I’m more frequent than others. More than frequent, I would say I fly extensively.

And yes, flying out of BTR is a treat. If your only complaint is that it doesn’t have direct flights to enough airports then, yeah, fricking duh

DFW, I was wondering if that matters too as far as the flight path is concerned.

I’ve statistically probably flown more than you and the BTR airport is awesome.

Can show up right before the flight and stroll right onto the plane.

Might be the only great thing in BR
