Blue Wave Purebay 2200

Close to pulling the trigger on a Frontier 2104 and ran across a Purebay 2200 Both have 175s on them and the pure bay is a couple thousand more Sharp looking boat. Wondering how they compare? Anyone have one?

Here is my anecdotal opinion. Fished on a loaded Bluewave 2400 Pure Bay this past weekend. Nicest bay boat I have fished on other than the T Top, hate those things. Which isn't saying much since I fish in a 2002 21' express and have cheap friends like me who don't have nice boats. I have fished on a Frontier, but a much older model. From a performance perspective, they both are going to do the same thing generally. Can't go wrong with either one.
While I generally agree with you, bluewave owner who I fished with this weekend was a genuinely nice guy, who would give you the shirt off his back. He must be the exception.

So the pure bay 2200 is really a 21 footer also

I like them both. Frontier wiring is shite, something to consider for the future. Blue wave is shut down but Frontier still open if you need parts later on.

Blue wave all day. The ride great, are setup to fish, and are overall the better boat.

Current blue wave owner of a 2400
Previously owned a 2104 frontier.
That being said I’d choose a blue wave over the frontier.
Both are great boats but the blue wave has a better layout and more features. The wiring is better on the blue wave for sure.
Don’t let the company bring shut down deter you from buying a blue wave. Mine is 4 years old and never had a single issue.
Had some wiring issues on my frontier from poor quality.
Also LOL about blue wave owners being a holes.

I would advise against spending that amount of money on a boat with no warranty.

I don't care for blue wave. They look cool but I don't like the layouts. I think the frontier is the better boat, but I'm a kenner fanboy.

Kenners had garbage wiring as well. For some reason, that Kenner crew just can't get wiring right. They get everything else as right as it can be.
