Is it capability? Ukraine air defense? Or political blow back if they started WW2/Vietnam bombing campaigns?

Either capability or they’re actually nervous about NATO intervention if they do.

Yeah

If NATO intervenes the war won't last very long. Russia would get run the frick over in a matter of weeks.

I assume they do not want the bad press. That could make their allies especially China backaway from their support.

They don't have any worth a shite.

Newsflash: the Russians possess an aging military with technology that hasn't been updated since the end of the Cold War.

They would be sitting ducks with the anti aircraft goodies Brandon sent over. Don’t forget intel we are giving them.

You mean the US, lol. NATO is a paper tiger without the US backing it.

How would NATO get into the theater? We haven't had to deal with a contested entry into theater since WWII.

Saw a couple of TU-95s landing at Barksdale in the early 90s. I was umpiring a baseball game under the approach.

Scared the crap out of most of the people at the ballpark.

The Russian’s still fly these…

While the Ukrainians have these…

Flying a lumbering high altitude bomber over airspace with modern air defense is suicide. Add in the fact bombers can launch cruise missiles from “standoff” ranges, and those cruise missiles are far more accurate than standard bombs, you begin to understand why the days of high altitude bombers flying over enemy airspace to drop a payload of 500 lb bombs is long gone.

Russia is making good and cheap use of their current big stock of FABS. They have just upgraded them to a longer more accurate wing package. Seems like a safer route than long range high altitude bombers.

I will give you another scenario. If nato gets involved Russia nukes everyone. That have more nuclear weapons than everyone else combined.

It’s amazing to me how anyone believes anything they hear regarding that bullshite.

How many times do you have to be blatantly lied to before you stop believing it? Another $200billion to Ukraine enough to “defeat the Russians”

No one in America knows what is going on over there and there’s a reason for that. We’re being robbed blind and that’s the only thing any American should be worried about

What’s stopping them? Mainly S-300V and Patriot PAC-2 missile systems.

I’m sure NATO would dominate Russia or even Russia plus every other non-NATO country in the world, however, I believe that if there was not a single Russian soldier or piece of military equipment in Russia we still could not overrun it in a matter of weeks.

We are incompetent. Luckily they are worse.

The Patriot can achieve almost twice the altitude of a Bear, and the Bear’s maximum speed is 575 mph.

Easy interception and certain death.

Not to mention iron bomb accuracy issues from 45,000 feet.
