Are there Catholics out there that don’t cheer for ND? I always cheer for them as long as LSU is not involved

Yes...any Catholic affiliated with a Jesuit school probably doesn't.

Yep. I don't with their preferential treatment

Truth be told, A&M may be more Catholic than Notre Dame anymore. They very, very likely generate more priestly vocations out of A&M.

They scored 1 (one) TD and won

"Shirley, you gest."
I'm betting you never set foot on the Notre Dame campus. I have been there many times. I am a Tiger alum, but I have 7 relatives that graduated from Notre Dame and it is still VERY Catholic. However I have never set foot on A&M, so I honestly can't compare the two.
I cheer for Notre Dame, unless they are playing LSU (then I cheer for the Tigers) or playing the alma mater of one of my other kids (then I am neutral).

I went to Jesuit and Notre Dame. I cheer for them but will always have LSU as my #1 team.

I went to Holy Cross for one year before they suggested I find another school after a minor altercation on a bus. That was the old 9th ward days. Anyway I played ball for them and it’s a Notre Dame school so yea, I still pull for them.

The #1 Catholic student population school is Maryland. #2 is LSU.
ND is obviously a Catholic school and I respect a lot of their tradition but they don’t have the monopoly on Catholicism.

I'm catholic.
Cheered for them this week, but rarely do.

Forever ago. That would have been around 1980. I don’t remember the bus driver but I lived on the Westbank at the time and there was only one bus that went there.

I’m Catholic and I absolutely loathe ND.

I married a Catholic and converted. Told my wife I am good converting but I’m not pulling for Notre Dame.

My dad drove a bus at holy cross in 1980, wonder if he was your driver, lol

I’m Catholic and I don’t care about Notre Dame, I also don’t care about being Catholic.

I’m Catholic and don’t cheer for ND. Even worse I used to like Miami and preferred them to ND.

I was a bit after you. Class of ‘89.

The president is “Catholic” too, does that mean he is VERY Catholic?
