If you were transported to the 1700s do you have a relevant skill set?

Started watching Outlander and I feel like I would be totally useless in the 1700s

I would be done without the internet

Your knowledge of the importance of hygiene would make you a medical genius

I would be a highwayman
Along the coach roads I would ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid would lose her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier would shed his lifeblood on my blade

I might be okay if I could live the Ben Franklin life, surviving on French wine and whores.

So there was very little bathing back then so fricking ladies would be quite smelly.

Gardening and seed saving
Cooking and baking and I could butcher if someone had a sharp knife and the stones to keep it sharp
Sewing and knitting

My singing voice is best unheard, and I know this.

You can apprentice yourself to a craftsman. After seven years you'll know how to be a tanner or a silversmith

Yes, metalworking. I assume it would be quite more labor intensive than it is now though

If everyone stinks then nobody stinks. God's creation of the human body was flawless.

After I invented the revolver and the semiautomatic firearm, I'm pretty sure I'd be set.

If you didnt have the skills, you wouldnt need to worry long. You'd starve in weeks.

People didnt eat out very often, many still got fresh fruits and veggies from farms, and there were very few fast food joints.

Being detached from nature has harmed mankind terribly.
