Granted it’s at 11 AM which helps us tremendously, but that place gets rocking regardless of how their teams record is.

If an undefeated top 12 ranked LSU is coming to town, you bet they’re gonna be up for it. New look D and Nussmier’s first SEC road game. Just something that us as fans might not have flagged but man Columbia can get you.

Arkansas and UF are the ultimate trap games on our schedule this year

It’s going to be a tough game, but I don’t think Scar’s defense matches up with us on offense much. Their offense is going to entirely depend on how far Lanorris can carry them

South Carolina has a way of always getting owned by LSU. I’m more worried about Florida and Arkansas.

They all are. We will have more than a few unexpected one score games this year .

Yes.

LaNorris Sellers is a super high upside QB who could wreck us if we don't have our shite togehter defnesively. Wouldn't be surpised if he was a Heisman canidate going into 2025. Really big, strong kid who has flashed. Really smart too, All SEC Honor Roll kid.

I think we'll be fine but we better not take him or that team lightly. Esp in their house.

How bout we focus on Trojans first. Doesn’t make any sense to look at anything passed that game since it’ll completely change how we view the season going forward.

I think this being the first SEC game of the year will have our focus. Road games are always tough. USC's talent doesn't scare me.

0 yards rushing in the 2003 natty year. I think they had six yards on the ground in 4Q and I was going nuts for a sack, which we got. Zero!

I've always thought of a trap game as being one that we should win, but may not bring full emotion or intensity, primarily due to the game being immediately after a huge emotional game the prior week. And it's even worse if it's on the road.

To me, USCe doesn't qualify as a trap game because it's the week after Nichols.

The real potential for trap games are at Arky (the week after Ole Miss) and at Florida (the week after Bama).

They can’t beat us straight up. Couple big special teams plays and a couple of turnovers, and it could get interesting. But I think we’ll be fine. We seemed to play really well on the road at 11 last year. And we’ll be coming off a home game to Nichols while they go on the road to Kentucky. I’d be surprised if we didn’t roll.

Is this the first “we as fans need to prepare and focus on this week’s opponent” post of the season?

We are so fricking back

god I hate it when people do this.

Yes, it's WE. Our team, the one that we grew up loving. The university we attended. The one that we have been emotionally invested in for decades. Us.

Do you really expect us to refer to LSU football as "they?"

No, it's US.

South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida and A&M all are trap games. Away games that will be tough to win. Still have confidence in us getting the job done.

Pretty sure our backups could beat South Carolina

We should also beat Florida and Arkansas by 21+
