You can include your gambling losses. Or don’t.

The delta on the high and low estimates will probably be crazy.

-5 nights hotel … Comp (with $500 freeplay + $300 resort food/drink credit)
-$416 AA Flight (MSY-LAS, Fri-Wed)
-$476 game Tickets(2)

Total from above $892, which does not include gambling losses, Ubers/Taxis, and food/drink/entertainment spend while there

*bringing $2000 cash for gambling, unfortunately I’ll probably lose that lol but maybe not

So let’s go with estimated $3000 total spend probably

Well worth it if we come home with the W! .. Even better in the small outside chance I come home with the cash I took or more

Bringing $1000 for gambling. Dinners will run another $600. Boozing another $400. Ticket to game $245. Hotel was about $850. Flight is free….so all in $3095. Unless I hit it big on that craps table!

Room is comped.

Flight there used points. Flight home is $400.

Not sure if all food will be comped, but let’s just say $1,000.

Two game tickets at $500 each.

Additional expenses maybe $1500+.

Based on the gambling numbers posted above, I need to start going to meetings.

I've went back and forth with myself and said anything under 6k all in is a win in my book. I'm going for 10 days and have 5 top notch dinners booked.

Thousands. Doesn’t really matter, that’s what vacations are for… to have fun and not worry about money/time

A lot

$1200 round trip for flights each for my and my wife (no pics) so that's $2400 right there.
We booked an Airbnb with 13 other friends a long time ago so place to stay isn't awful. I think it's around $500/person so $1000 total.
Tickets were $283 each so ~$600 total.
Dinner friday night is around $250 a person so $500 total.
Rented a couple cabanas to chill by the pool during the day saturday and watch football ~$250 a person before food/drinks so another $500.

That's $5k without counting most meals/drinks/rides/etc. Probably be somewhere close to 8-10k after gambling

if planned right, the costs are not much different then going to a sec game if you have to fly
for most, vegas is not just for a lsu game, it's also the days around it that is more like a mini vacation

some cheap hotel rooms are available this week for the last minute traveler

That’s why I like this road trip so much

Not only do we get to see LSU football in a big nationally-relevant game, we also get a nice fun Vegas vacation

I much prefer this kind of neutral site game over meh/standard Dallas/Houston//Atlanta neutral site games

This seems reasonable and sounds like fun. Everyone else got the whole trip comped it seems.

Reading all these well planned trips makes me embarrassed at what this trip will cost us all in part due to waiting too long to book our flights. Some of yall are paying less for your entire trip than we are just for flights.
