Just called Nussmeier one of the "all-time sleeper picks" for the Heisman. He was also the only one of Gameday that had LSU making the playoff.

Love or hate him.. he knows football way more than anyone on that stage.
If he thinks we are a threat, then we should too.

Yes. LSU has barely been mentioned today. Hopefully we are just under the radar but I do miss the days when we were a top dog in the SEC.

Ginormous understatement. He doesn't have the best personality, but he's so smart.

Yep said people talking about losing all those wide receivers/skill positions. Said in Louisiana you could shake a tree and those guys will fall out.

Ok Nick Ill be cordial just for today..

He's been great on Gameday showing his non-coach personality.

Great mix of informative and self-deprecating humor. Very relaxed.

I believe that Nick knows LSU is going to be a problem this season. They may or may not make it into the playoff (I think they will) but they will absolutely be a team that no one wants to play.

The love for Missouri is truly dumbfounding but I’m fine with being overlooked

Saban’s analysis adds a huge improvement to Gameday.

Putting Saban on Gameday was a great decision by ESPN. I hated him for going to Alabama but have the utmost respect for him. He’s the goat.

The have a ton of offensive production returning and a very favorable schedule. I'm not saying they can compete for a championship, but I totally get why people have them making the playoff.

I have read that people who knew him and his wife personally when he was in Baton Rouge say that he is completely different in person than the persona he has had as a coach.
