Favorite Anime?

I like and love a bunch of animes I'm supposed to like. They are great. I love the 90s version of Berserk. I love Overlord, Tokyo Ghoul, Psychopass and Frieren among many others, but if I had to choose ONE that was my favorite it comes down to two.
Initial D
Black Lagoon
And despite everything that says I should choose Black Lagoon, I choose Initial D.
An anime about street racing down mountain passes beats out the one about modern day pirates with a crazy bitch that doesn't know how to button her shorts.
Yep.
Don't know why, but Initial D is my favorite.

I could never really get into AoT. I mean I like the genre and loved things like Full Metal Alchemist, but AoT never resonated with me. All the elements were there, and I should have really enjoyed it. I just...didn't.

I too watch Isekai trash. I like Mushoku Tensei a lot, but I think "The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat" is better for whatever weird reason my brain conjures up.

Tenchi Muyo will always hold a special place in my heart as the first anime I really got into. I'm hindsight most of it is bad, but when it is good it is great.
At the moment if I am going to put on an anime and just binge than it probably be That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. That is in part because I have read almost all the light novels as well.

Not Allowed in Another World is a great trash isekai. I highly recommend it. The MC is repeatedly trying to kill himself and his party has to constantly heal him.
