This should go well: "Starbucks new boss under fire for 1,000-mile commute"

The newly announced boss of Starbucks, Brian Niccol, has come under fire after it was revealed he will commute almost 1,000 miles (1,600km) from his family home in Newport Beach, California, to the firm's headquarters in Seattle on a corporate jet.
Critics have noted what they see as a discrepancy between the company's public stance on green issues and the lifestyles of its top executives, along with questions around whether Starbuck's three-day office working rule will apply to him.
Up-Up and Away!

He did wonders turning Chipotle into Taco Bell. Wonder what he has cooked up for Starbucks

But it’s ok when the Kardashian’s, Bill Gates, and Taylor Swift does it?
How does that compute??

Rules for thee, not for me. It’s how politicians and ultra wealthy live.

Who cares. I'm pretty sure he churned out record profits from Chipotle. If he can do that by jetting to Seattle three days a week, good for him.

Here comes one of our product consumers to defend this brave ceo

Amazing despite being outnumbered 99 to 1 too.

quote:Missing the point. Starbucks goes out of their way to promote green agendas and force sustainable practices on their suppliers. Meanwhile, their CEO is commuting to work on a private jet instead of just moving closer to the office. Rules for thee….

I don’t care what arrangements he has with his employer.
But next time Starbucks starts going on a corporate rant about the environment, remember this

Had a nitro cold brew a few times last week... that's about as good as it gets, lads. 5 calories yet creamy and filling.
Amazing way to skip breakfast and easily make it to 14 - 20 hours of fasting

To be fair, that was under the previous regime. Let's see if he keeps it up.

Commute, like daily commute.

To be fair there are people that lose their mind over TSwift’s flights.

quote:They left that part out. No way he spends 5-6 hours on the plane every day. He probably “commutes” by flying to Seattle, staying in a corporate owned condo, and then flying home every 3 or 4 days.
Commute, like daily commute.

When they give millions to the DNC to ram climate propaganda down our collective throats, I care.

But it is in poor taste when you say everyone else should be more green
