This a sad 911 story I did not know about. Edna Cintron.

The images of people stacked on top of each other leaning out of broken windows 100 stories up is something I’ll never be able to get out of my mind.
It was hell on earth above the impact zone in the North Tower. The plane hit square, severing all stairwells and filling the top floors with smoke. You were stuck for your last hour and 42 minutes unless you fell or jumped.
The plane hit the South Tower at an angle and farther down, letting people find smoke free places in the opposite corner. Some even escaped the impact zone and above.

There is another guy to the upper left of her too. I get the impression that most of these videos were banned from mainstream internet platforms at the time.

Y’all need to get off X if your algorithm is giving you posts from Morbid Knowledge and the other fricked up accounts like it. It’s not healthy to be inundated with the atrocities and violence of the planet.

I’ve seen just about everything 9/11 related known to man. It’s fascinating in a horrific way and I’ll go through huge binges from time to time.

I’ve actually spoke with Edna on the phone. The company I was first with after B school was part of Marsh Mac for a bit.
Jim Clear who I knew was also part of our office for Marsh Mac and was also the voice of the IVR for the organization. He just happened to be at the New York office on 9/11.
I can still hear Jim’s deep baritone voice “if you would like to leave a voice mail press 1” or what ever he recorded.

About a year ago, someone posted a closeup video of the planes crashing into the towers. You can clearly see Edna Cintron waving for help.

Crazy to think that you are drinking your morning coffee and getting some work done and then an hour later you were either jumping from the building, burning alive or getting crushed by the collapsing building.

I remember seeing the people jumping and one guy filming and someone hit the ground right by him.
I remember the headlines were "America at War" so we drove to campus and picked up our other roommates and went home preparing for ww3.
