Wonder what Biden/Kamala's constituents think of that. They were promised that we'd go all electric/net zero emissions.

Does this mean gas prices are going to go down?

I’ve been telling people on this board, for years, that the dems talk big and make grand gestures, but they keep the oil flowing, too.

Remember when dimocratix Jimmy Carter said we’d run out of oil before the end of the 80s?

Analysts warned that the EIA could revise the number when it releases its monthly data, which generally lags its weekly bulletins by several months. But for now, the number indicates that oil companies have gotten more efficient at pumping oil even as the number of drilling rigs in operation has fallen.

Advances in fracking technology have helped propel the U.S. to the leading spot in global output of oil and natural gas.

Weird, Kamala wants to end fracking, at least she said she did last time she ran.

We weren't number 1 until after Trump was elected.

I'm pretty sure Big Oil tricked the climate change nuts and Biden by including tax credits for enhanced oil recovery using CO2 in the Inflation Reduction Act. $45 per metric tonne IIRC for EOR. And when they sequester it, they get $85 per metric tonne. Also there are currently $1.2 trillion in grants to sequester CO2 managed by the DOE from the IRA. Most of your oil companies will grab that because they have the know how.

What makes government happy is knowing how CO2 sequestration will benefit disadvantaged communities. This is where Big Oil hires sociologist and they write politically correct white papers.

The climate change people think they are sticking it to Big Oil, but Big Oil is playing them like a fiddle.

Not necessarily. Mostly because our foreign policy sucks. Oil is a global commodity so you need a strong man in the WH to nudge OPEC.

This ^^^^ should swing the vote in Trump's favor.

The Dim Drones will be angry the illegitimate regime wasn't the Green administration they thought they were voting for. These same Dim Drones loved the MRNA Juice developed under Trump's Operation Warp Speed......Trump should win in an electoral and popular vote landslide.

I'm sure Cumala is the right man for the job.
