I'd like to believe arse-ville is MAGA, but I'm pretty certain that most of the folks there for the Trump Rally are from the surrounding areas up to four hours away. There are some truly good people in that section of the country, but they don't reside in arse-ville.

Surely none of those attendants could have driven into Ashville from surrounding areas

Not even the one that spoke at the RNC?

Having spent a lot of time in the area, you are correct. All these folks are from places like Hendersonville, Brevard, Waynesville, etc., and NOT Asheville itself.

Correct. I can be in Asheville in 45 mins and there isn’t a Democrat to be found near us.

Brevard does have a bunch of old-balls left-tards though. They love their stupid “demonstrations” outside City Hall.

I've spent a good bit of time in western NC. The NC Appalachians are MAGA AF. It's Charlotte and Raleigh that are the pain in the arse.

Moved to Charlotte earlier this year. Nearly everyone we meet is from the NE. The few locals we knew already bitch about them ruining the city all the time.

Asheville proper is a lot smaller a city than a lot of people seem to realize. ,

Asheville is deep blue! Buncombe County is deep red.

Wife and I went to Ashville right before COVID, and it appeared solidly anti-Trump. I hope that has changed there and in a lot of places, but, for the most part, I doubt it.

I enjoy visiting the area. I’ve never been hit over the head with overt political shite from the “artsy fartsies” there.

Amazing after a 4 year successful administration they still try to dust off the old troll insults. Maybe they should really just learn the meaning of grifter?

Biltmore is pretty cool. We want to go see it at Christmas. The Blue Ridge mountains are just beautiful all around.

I was exaggerating that part for effect. But not exaggerating about wanting to go. Next such vacation I shall push past the traditional Chattanooga stomping grounds and venture further east to that area.

Asheville is more interesting in its offerings than Chattanooga. The surrounding outdoor activities are more varied and enjoyable as well. And I generally like Chattanooga.
