We took it for granted that surfing the internet will always be the same but actually we will one day look back at the last couple of decades with a longing of the way it was.
Missing the greatness of surfing in the late 90s and early 2000s is one thing but being controlled and not being able to even get on anonymously is another. It will soon altogether be over.

I lived and worked there for five years and never heard this term, but I looked it up and apparently you are right.
I never had a issue with anyone in Australia, even after we invaded Iraq in 2003 which was very unpopular there.
So,
I am glad that I got out of there when I did, though. The Australian government's response to Covid made me realize that.
