Talentless thieves of equity clinging to long passed industry pricing standards.

The stat he says about 90% of buyers using agents was only because the sellers were paying all of the commission. It will be interesting to see how much that 90% changes.

And then get mad at the appraiser when it doesn't come in at that contract price...

The agents can't arbitrarily raise the price of any home. Also, advising a buyer to pay more to cover their commission breaks their fiduciary duty to their buyer.

It seems like it’s the easiest job in the world minus the fact that there are too many people doing it

So 4% is going to be the standard going forward? 2% seller and 2% buyer? I don’t see the days of 5-6% commissions coming back. Also I don’t think anyone is going to want to go below 4%.

As if this wasn’t the norm, as if buyer’s agents weren’t colluding with listing agents already. The idea of hiring a buyer agent on commission is the dumbest thing on earth.

90% of RE agents are like elementary school teachers who read the lesson right before teaching it to kids who just haven’t had the time or experience to quite fully grasp the information on their own yet. And like these young adults fresh out of college teaching children most real estate agents weren’t exactly ready for full time jobs in the real world so they chose the next easiest thing you can make a “career” out of.

I would venture to say it may major be the easiest job in the world

Because to become great, and one of the best, the quality you need is, wait for it, knowing people

“There is no standard” was always the line because that’s illegal price fixing. But there was a standard

I don't understand needing a buyer's agent at all honestly considering the massive amount of technology to assist people.

Flat fee brokerages that allowed FSBOs access to the MLS for 1% should come back. NAR did all they could to crush those agencies over the years but it's unavoidable now.

Honestly, title companies should get licensed and take over the buyer's agent side for 1% fees. They already handle 95% of the paperwork and headache once the contract is signed. Why not just handle it all and make more money?

If boomers hadn’t destroyed the economy these realtor women could’ve been a switchboard operator or secretary until she met a nice man and got married and then she could stay home and raise kids. It’s sad what these gamified fake jobs have done to society. I’m not sure if they’re a part of the problem or a symptom of a greater problem

Women really do be foregoing having kids in hopes that Keller Williams will put their picture on a bus bench for hobos to pee on

I know you troll with these posts 95% of the time but feminism really did take a lot of these values away.

Buyers and sellers set the sales price, not agents. This guy is clueless as to the process. Agents just pass along the info.

With today’s technology and available info, realtors are really pretty worthless.
