That was a nice, smart opening drive. Good play calling and good play making by Daniels.

Dropped a 40 yard dime with former LSU db Bernard-Converse in coverage.

If Washington can have a solid running game like they did on that drive that’s going to help him so much. Great first drive

They pulled him after the drive. Marcus Mariota in for the start.

Would’ve liked to see another drive, but it’s smart not to get your starter hurt in preseason games that mean absolutely nothing.

Another, better to turn off the volume!

Too good!

I will say, they did improve their Offense Line from last season. That can only help. Having Kliff Kingsbury as your Offensive Coordinator helps a bunch.

How does an NFL DE not stay home on a zone read. He's probably been defending that play for 10+ years

Probably because these are glorified exibitions, playing people that are trying to see if they can make the team. I remember Jarrett Lee through for 500 yards in an early preseason NFL start...and was cut the following week.

He’ll burn more than a few really good defenders this season.

It was a great fake and once he fakes guys out, it's pretty much over in short distance situation.
