As always he is doing a great job.

Would like for him to have his own weekday show on the big 870.

The only time I listen to WWL is when there’s 2 minutes before the top of the hour so I can listen to their Chicago’s “Get Away” bump music.

Haven't listened in months, is Cohen still crying about how the time change is the worst thing that's ever happened to him?

Scoot says he is a ‘radical moderate’ every single show, then bashes Trump and conservatives for 3 hours.

Not sure if him claiming he is moderate or straight is the bigger lie.

I don't know how anybody is able to listen to Scoot for more than 5 minutes, much less 3 hours.

It's a sad state of affairs when Newell is the best host.

That's how you get people to listen. Scoot has been in the radio game a long time and he knows that being "controversial" is a way to drive ratings. Any one that lies like he does, and constantly bashes one side of the political spectrum while claiming to be fair and impartial, well, he's just antagonizing and placating to his audience. The show is very uninformed and slanted to a leftist point of view. The guy who works with him is even more "SOY" than Scoot is.

I wonder how many people actually listen to terrestrial radio these days?

I have an hour commute. I listen to the radio just long enough to get a traffic update and then I turn on a podcast or something.

Scoot’s show gets hilarious when the rage listeners call in. It’s literally what he’s wants. The dude used to be on B-97 and these morons take him seriously and get so enraged.

He has been doing the show all week. Tommy must be on vacay.

I love the nostalgia of Mark Rosa on Monday and Friday. He was my professor over 25 years ago. He had a great sense of humor then as he does now. He is naturally N'awlins, in an educated way.

Radio is definitely not dead. I think its preferred by people who like routine, similar to someone watching the 10PM news before they go to bed. Same structure and format every day. Same people talking every day with new guests.

Although podcasts are valuable, it takes much more effort to find what you are looking for. I can't tell you the amount of podcasts I have turned off after a few minutes. I have not listened to a podcast in a while as it was a PIA, but I definitely will still listen to them.

There is a market for everyone.

Janice is my favorite (I believe that is her name). She reminds me of a teacher I had in 5th grade, bitching about everything. When Will Clark signed the richest contract at the time ($15 Million), she spent the first ten minutes of the class lecturing us on how this was hogwash and BS that someone can get paid that much to hit a baseball.

Janice is a big part of that show. I hope they never ban her.

Podcasts are very popular at the moment but I wonder if it’s just a craze or something that will stay around for a long time?
