Team from Kenner, LA beat South Korea 8-7 in the 13 year old LLWS.

Didn't know they had a little League world series for 13 year olds but more shocking is that a team from Kenner bruh beat the best team from Asia.

Is this the one in Orange Beach, Destin, or Nashville.

Is this the best team from Asia or are they the team from the exchange student program. Asia is pretty big.

Is that why it was called the intermediate team?

Had no idea what that was, but they were playing 50–70.

13U playing 50–70 is criminal.

100 percent that those distances for 13 year olds is ridiculous. 13 year olds should be playing on the big field getting ready for high school instead of that. But, congrats anyways- they played other teams playing the same distances.

I agree the bases and mound should be moved back, but I wouldn’t call it criminal. 50/70 is the norm for 12u Perfect Game, so they are only a year behind select ball. 13u select ball in Texas is 54/80. You have your entire 8th grade (14u) year to get used to 60/90. Like I said, I agree the bases and mound should be moved back, but the one real benefit that I see of 13u 50/70 is that a good 13u pitcher from 50 feet is hard as hell to hit. I’d argue that the batters facing good pitching at 50 feet are getting far better training than if they were facing those same pitchers at 60 feet. “If you hit, you don’t sit.” That’s a fact at every level of baseball.

In all fairness, we have to just guess who the best Asian team is because Israel's All-star 13 Y.O.'s are busy being attacked right now.

Do you repeat this in every youth baseball thread because you think it makes you sound cool on the OT? Or is it that you are too dumb to realize the difference between travel ball and Little League?

The LLWS we all watch is for 10-12 year olds. Other age groups are not the big one in Williamsport.

Pretty sure the son of the Dutchtown baseball coach played on it also, it's not all Eastbankers.

its not nearly as popular after 12u where you see the normal llws but its still a thing.

and eastbank has a good program. they do a good job of getting the renegade and carrolton boosters kids to come out and play.
