Feels like we are not winning nearly as many golds this year especially in swimming.

Not a terrible Olympics but certainly not our best.

Our swimming team is relatively weak, with freaks like Marchand and McIntosh emerging, along with a strong Australia

it sure seems like we are coming up short over and over again. Winning lots consolation prizes, i.e silver and bronze. Swimming and now track and field.

It seems like part of the problem is we now train our competition in swimming. Most of the top international swimmers live here.

We’re definitely losing a lot of winnable races at the end in both swimming and track. So I think it’s fair to say a down Olympics in the sense that we’ve won about as few golds as it was possible for us to win entering the Olympics.

Eh we have 59 total medals and 13 golds with track just starting. We are having an off Olympics in men’s swimming but track will make up for that. A few Olympics ago our track teams were a little bit down and we still finished with most golds and overall medals. The track program was revamped and the medals will pour in this Olympics making up for a lackluster swimming performance.

I predict we will. China is raking in medals right now with diving but that sport is reaching it’s conclusion at these Olympics.
