Despite the win on Thursday,

May the sushimi and sake flow tonight in honor of Yusei-san, the first Japanese born player to pitch for the Astros.

The Japanese Randy Johnson is ready to dominate.

All hail John-san.

We're all going to lulz if he acts like Blair Henley too.

I really hope Kikuchi does well besides the obvious reasons of wanting the Astros to do well. He’s going to have unfair expectations from the fan base. If he performs to his season numbers then the fan base is going to hate him just because of the trade. The DAT obviously knows the hate should be directed at the front office but I’m hoping Kikuchi doesn’t catch any strays

Also, I found this interesting. Apparently we’re a 7th inning team

Don’t the Astros usually hit him well historically? Does he just suck against some teams that have bloated his stats and otherwise done well against everyone else? Am I reaching for straws? Yeah. But, if the offense remains dead in the water, it’s not going to matter too much.

Would be fitting if Kikuchi gives up like 8 runs in 2-3 innings.

I always imagine Beavis from Beavis and butt head repeating it over and over getting more animated every time he says it.

No wonder we overpaid for KooKoo. They know that nothing the medical staff forecasts comes to fruition.
