I could name so many off the top of my head., I remember cereal was probably my go to staple as a kid. Now..... I'd probably have a hard time without over easy eggs and bacon. Pancakes as well. What says you?

Over-easy eggs, bacon, and avocado.

The best bagels I've ever had were on Long Island. I can totally see why you would say this. Nothing beats a fresh hot bagel with cream cheese.

Several times a year, I cure a slab of salmon for gravlax and bake a loaf of NY rye. Serve with thin red onion, capers and chopped hard boiled egg.
Variations: substitute fresh guacamole for the cream cheese, or substitute pickled red onion for regular red onion.
The breakfast of kings.

My choice of food for breakfast can vary between several different things, but the constant is hot cups of coffee. I will often just drink coffee and skip any food most days.

Well eggs is the obvious choice for me. Scrambled, fried, Omelette....
2nd is a protein, Ham, bacon, sausage. Usually homemade.
A wrap or bagel.
No cereal.

It isn't breakfast without eggs (don't really care how they are prepared). Full grown adults should not be eating cereal for breakfast
