I don’t know if it’s the best idea but businesses pay their portion of the payroll taxes on those tips. It helps them out too if only just a little.

How does a business get away with paying below minimum wage to hire the server? That is unconscionable.

That’s actually how I tip them. I thought that’s what it meant. None have ever said anything about it though. And I don’t tip men for anything. Men shouldn’t be wanting tips.

They won't allow us that benefit.
We would get 10% wages 90% non wage compensation so they could tax 90% earnings at 38% luxury rate, like my bonuses.
