Do You Bring a Backpack Into the Office?

I'm not talking about a bag for your laptop. I mean a full on backpack stuffed with who knows what. Our office is about 50/50, people who bring one into work vs. people who don't.
Do you bring a backpack into work?
If so what you carry in it?

A plastic Kroger or Walmart bag with snacks and waters to put in fridge.. target bag if I’m lucky since they’re thicker

I bring my laptop bag and a separate bag for workout clothes and to carry my lunch. I’ll typically go for a run at lunch or hit the gym down on the bottom floor of the building.

If you wear a suit, you should not wear a backpack. It looks childish.
Most everybody else, it makes me think you are prepared to get the job done.

Engineering firm.
Few people saying gym clothes..... we don't have a gym. I see a few people carry in a Backpack, a lunch bag to stick in the fridge and a laptop bag.
That's too much shite to carry. I come in with my badge and maybe a snack.

I use one of these but it’s my work backpack. I tour a lot of buildings and use laser tape measures and tape measures. I also need my laptop and sales slicks so it works better than my briefcase.

Yep. It's filled with different papers, workout gear, laptop, ect.

No. I'll never understand what you need to bring back and forth. Those same folks probably tote their backpack over to the WFH spot also.

No backpack. But I do take my trapper keeper. It’s pretty sweet. Added a pencil pouch last week.

Yep.
But I also don’t care what people think about me and my backpack

No. I don’t go to an office anymore. But I do have a bag with a handgun, bullets, knife, spoon, Gerber pliers, LED headlight, toothbrush, toothpaste, BeanieWeenies, sardines, emergency cash, etc. You never know….

I use a backpack for my laptop. Also has a notepad, charger, mouse, pens/pencils, business cards, and probably some other random shite in it.
Could I fit all it into a messenger bag? Sure. But a backpack is easier to carry when I need both hands to carry other shite, gives me space to pack anything else I might need for customer meetings, and when I’m traveling (personal or business) I use it for other stuff without having to keep track of a separate laptop bag.
When I go to meetings nowadays, I see more people (engineers, project managers, etc.) carrying their laptops in backpacks than messenger bags.
