Lindsey Graham tried to stop Trump from choosing JD Vance as his VP pick

Graham was one of an "array of senators, donors, conservative media personalities and other supporters" who tried to get Trump to choose someone other than Vance, according to the Post.

Rubio serves on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. The SSCI works directly with the Intelligence Community.
Upon a Trump victory Rubio would have been a direct nexus between the Intelligence Community and the White House.
Let's hope that the JD pick making the RINOs mad is an indication that JD has not been captured by the IC and remains uncaptured.

You are correct. There still is that concern. But up to this point there is no evidence that JD has been captured by the IC. In fact the evidence from the RINOs reaction to Trump's pick of JD is to the contrary, which is positive.
But we do know that JD's meteoric rise is mostly due to Peter Thiel. So it's not like JD does not come with some baggage. Peter Thiel is the founder of Palantir who is a MASSIVE government contractor. I'm pretty sure that Peter Thiel through JD will be lobbying hard for the reauthorization of FISA when it is up for renewal. Palantir's business model relies on that reauthorization.

Mrs Lindsey wanted Tim Scott. When Trump said no to him he pushed for Rubio. One of those would have been potentially POTUS if they took out Trump.

If Chuck Schumer AND Lindsey Graham are against him, then he was definitely the right choice.
I can't think of a more ringing endorsement. (unless you tell me that Mike Johnson was also against him)
