That's a good way to get every water faucet and every other electric appliance on maximum. Not to mention a terrible review for future guests to avoid your place.
Carlos Gonzalez is obviously a pos. 67 is a reasonable set point for vacationers.

I’d become irrationally angry and start tearing shite up.

As long as it's stated before hand I have no issue with it

Go to Home Depot, buy a old school thermostat, replace smart thermo stat… profit!

Nope.. if i am the guest and i am paying for the AirBNB- then the “reasonable” set point is whatever i say it is .
This could all be avoided if the AirBNB owner would disclose in the ad that he sets the AC at 80 degrees or whatever, then i can choose to stay elsewhere.. otherwise im contacting AirBNB directly and demanding a full refund .

My first thought would be to burn the place down.
Then I would calm down and start really thinking of fricked yo things to do. The negative review would be the least of this persons worries

Some dead fish and deer urine hid all over the house plus an Annoy-A-Tron hidden somewhere.

Response should be proportional...

Repeat year after year

Quick trip to Home Depot to find a cheap thermostat. Pull this one off, wire up the new one, set to 70 degrees.

Right. But setting it at 67 in July is no different than 60. 99% of places are going to run constantly at either temp because it's not actually going to get that cold until night, maybe.
downvotes: equal to number of women viewing this post, or men who don't understand thermostats and settings.
