If you find anything around Elizabethtown you're gonna pay.
Prices have gone crazy because that stupid battery plant in Glendale.

I live there. You won't find 10 acres in Hardin County unless you are willing to pay through the nose.

They are building that Ford battery plant and it has caused land to skyrocket. I'd look out in Breckenridge or LaRue counties. Land is still affordable out that way.

There is excellent fishing very nearby. Nolin lake, Rough river lake and Green River lake are all within an hour of here. You can fish the Ohio River too.

Yes I meant on the fringes where it’s still reasonable. Which looking it seems to be very affordable compared to home.

It’s a beautiful area, close to Louisville, good people. Enjoy.

But you will get snow.

True, but less hot and humid days and less severe weather.

I lived in Kentucky for 10 yrs. Found people friendly, but Clanish for sure.
In the winter I’d always check temps south of Nashville. Always 7-10 degrees warmer in winter. About same summer temps.
I’d highly recommend Tennessee
