I ETA’ed and left my original post.
He started off hitting .150-ish and a .186 BABIP. Terrible. All in the first two months of the season.
Has since been hitting .290.
I suppose we’re going to see what his true trends will be the rest of the way.

Not going to lie I missed this before posting.
Phillies will love Hays. Goes all out when he plays. Mashes lefties. Great glue guy and somebody the fans will love.
Also the Pache inclusion implies that Mateo’s injury may be worse than the team is letting on.

Yea seems like he will fit in in that clubhouse and I’d imagine he will be platooning with Marsh in the field and get some DH at bats against righties.
