I just got this email blast from the Harris campaign.
I got to say, why release this at 4 in the morning. Must be wanting to hit the morning news cycle before everyone checks out for the weekend.

The endorsement comes as Harris for President kicks off a Weekend of Action marking 100 days until Election Day. With over 170,000 volunteers and 2,300 events across the battleground states, Team Harris is making its case to the voters who will decide this election about the fundamental choice they will face this November at the ballot box. Kamala Harris wants to build a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead. Donald Trump wants to take America backwards with his extreme Project 2025 agenda.
The Obamas’ endorsement adds to the already-massive groundswell of support for the vice president’s candidacy, including endorsements from labor unions, advocacy groups, and dozens of Democratic elected officials who are dedicating their robust organizing infrastructure to supporting her campaign.

I was wrong. Damn. I fully expected Michelle and Newsome to be the candidates.
I have to admit that MSM has been doing a great job of pushing the narrative. It's being received better by voters than I expected.
It's really worrisome to see how effective the progs propaganda machine can be.
When half the nation believes anything MSM tells em, that's not going to end well for ALL of us. Regardless who you vote for.

He probably could not get the rest or any of the Democrats to go with his wishes that coronation was not the best idea. Also, the money raised in the last few days probably spoke to him. Harris has been able to pull in a quarter billion dollars in 4 days

I guarentee that he had his minions have a discussion with Harris, and it was promised that Obama will have "influence" with a Harris' Administration just like he did with the Biden Administration. To get his and Michelle's endorsement, it required a kissing of his...er, ring.

It offers her nothing over what she already has. She’s not Hillary. She’s got all the fame and adulation (and wealth) she could ever really want. She’s not someone who feels the need to “personally prove” anything to anyone.
All she ever wanted was all of those trappings without the headaches or much effort. There’s simply no way she’s going to choose headaches and more effort just to keep all the same trappings she already has. It never really made much sense.

Notice something here. It reads “President Barack Obama.” Not former President. As I understand it, it’s customary to refer to former Presidents as President.
The exception is Trump. They call him former President. More gaslighting and brainwashing
