They had pictures off his iCloud, knew where he had shot an elk, had details not shared with anyone.
They were after a rogue guide taking people to a closed area, but how can federal game wardens crack the cloud, but SS and FBI can’t seem able?
Makes you say …yeah sure you can’t !

Pacemakers go directly inside the heart now through your leg but FBI can’t unlock a phone.

I think in texas a game warden does not need a search warrant to go in a house looking for game. Is it same for feds?

They can unlock any phone. Hell they probably don't even need to unlock it to get the data.

They just think people are dumb enough to believe they can't.

People just do not understand how critical it is to take back control of your own life from a centralized federal government. The US Constitution protects us from such intrusion.

I know in Louisiana they don’t either. That’s how we always knew a big drug bust was about to go down in my hometown- game wardens staging up with state and local police. Apparently the dealers and cookers never caught on to that though

On an aside. If you’re a reader you should check out the book Game Wars. It’s an anthology of true stories from an undercover game warden.

ETA let me rephrase that - I’ve always heard they don’t need a warrant and that there’s kind of a gray area in a law used to allow them to enter private property (woods), check boats, vehicles, and warehouse/processing plants that lets them enter residences.

I’ll leave up my speaking in absolutes as penance.

They’ve got top men working on it as we speak.

I think they need a warrant to go inside a dwelling, but they have something called the "Open Fields Doctrine" that basically says the 4th amendment doesn't apply to open fields or woods. So they can "search private property" but not inside your house without consent, evidence in plain view, or a warrant.

Lots oxf states have crazy laws regarding their fish and game wardens though. They can do just about anything without a warrant.

The encrypted comms is what throws me off... encrypted comms pretty much mean anything related to the internet these days. I mean, I'm sure quite a few of the j6ers had some encrypted apps on their phones...and I didn't hear anything about the nsa or FBI having a problem looking through those thousands of devices.

It’s a gross day in America, when our own people need to be water boarded just so Americans can sleep at night.

Repeat after me.

“Do you have a warrant?”…… No?…… GTF off the property.”

Listen to bullshite for a few minutes…. No response…. Watch the walk of shame.

Very very very simple.

They should be enter "open field" property without probable cause. I belive they have made the argument they should not be required to get a warrant due to time required, but they should not go willy-nilly where they choose.

Very few folks contest this but some who have, have prevailed. Basically, they cannot trespass just because they want to check things out. They must be able to articulate a suspected crime.
