I saw a deer get hit on the highway today

Damn, never seen one being hit. Have seen lots of already dead Bambi's on the roads in the Piney Woods of E Texas, and it's always a little sad.

Yeah, I understand. It’s hard to see a beautiful, graceful animal get ended by chance like that. It gets me with pretty much any animal.

Crazy, I’ve been in a car that hit a deer. I was probably 12-13 riding in the back of one of my sisters friends car on the way to a high school baseball game. The car was pretty dented but I remember after his dad came and checked it out we kept going to the game.
I had damn near forgot about that until this thread. Crazy how memories fade over time, that was 20+ years ago
