Disappointed in this choice. Guy was a big never trumper before he changed his tune. He will be another snake in the grass imo

Also doesn’t help Trump win. Ohio is already red. Youngkin would have made a better choice at least he puts Virginia in play and has been pretty conservative for a lean blue/purple state governor

There were so many better choices, imagine picking the guy that compared you to Hitler

Vance...

1. Doesn't like Ukraine funding or endless wars...
2. Tells it like it is about Social Security and Medicare...
3. Bill Kristol has come out against him...

So, other than never Trumper, have you got something that doesn't excite you about 1 through 3?

Takes a lot of confidence to pick somebody like that

Well, you 3 plus Bill Kristol, Van Jones, Rupert, Ryan, and the MSM should all have a safe space to talk about your feels.

It's very meh to me. I probably would have gone with Youngkin for a safe play, but JD is more dynamic. And I think Youngkin might be a neocon monster in disguise if he was with Carlyle Group for so long.

He kind of looks like Al Borland off Home Improvement. Maybe that’ll play well in the rust belt.

You’ve bitched about trump nonstop the past year and that would’ve continued regardless of who he picked

Kristol and David Frum are melting, so that is a great sign.

Who had Elon Musk buying Twitter and being a full-throated supporter for Trump 4 years ago?

VPs are rarely (if ever) figurative rock stars anyway. JD does bring a swagger that few can match. Yes, there's Vivek and a VERY few others, but it's a solid choice.

At this point, anyone calling themselves "Republican" and still unflinchingly clinging to this narrative that ANYTHING Trump does must be spun as BAD, is pretty much completely exposed for what they actually are.

I have to say, it's refreshing to see how many have come around otherwise, though.
