It’s amazing how much real time news can be found on Political Talk and the OT Lounge. When I saw the first post about Trump on Saturday it was just a few minutes after the assassination attempt. I started checking main stream media sites with no confirmation. Luckily I was able to rewind Fox News on my Smart TV to watch the full Trump Rally. Hats off to all of TD Posters that constantly link good info.

Same here. I haven't relied on news outlets in years.
Oddly enough, the only mainstream media outlet I will look at is Aljazeera. They usually keep it unbiased.

No doubt, IH. You get substantive analysis and critique from both perspectives and the Links to back up their pov, with many rushing to deliver it first. Thank Chicken and the Admins for finessing this Forum; I honestly don't see how they've done it given that LSU is a public brand with a lot of PC red tape.

Political talk forum had the interview with the red headed witness who the BBC interviewed on the site within 45 minutes of the shots.... the mainstream media took about 2 to 3 hours to even acknowledge it.
