New keyword from the media. A “long-range” shot from “outside the perimeter”
SS should have had agents or eyes on every rooftop within a thousand yards of that stage. To pretend that this dude would have been hard to spot while spectators are literally on the ground right next to him trying to alert law enforcement.

You’re right. It was a freaking meat shot.

It’s nothing, I shoot well over 2000 meters well below sub MOA, Trump is dang lucky to be alive, as that distance it nothing for any rifle

I wasn’t allowed to hunt for deer until I could put rounds on target consistently at 100 yards. Without a scope.
I was 10 when I met that requirement.
This guy had a semi automatic rifle with a scope. If rifle shots were basketball shots this would be a layup.

Trump is damn lucky. Shooting Trump and knowing you are going to die have to add a huge level of nervousness to this shot. Also the people hollering next to the building may have made him more nervous and rush the shot

To be fair, if you don’t know shite about guns or using them (like me) you might consider that long range. Guys on here are talking about being able to shoot a golf ball from that far away and further, that is absurdly impressive to the lay person.

Hitting a plate sized object from 100 yards is childs play. At 500 yards it would be a decent shot.

It’s a wide open shot on Trump and there are no obstructions on the roof top. Trump is on an elevated stage to make him an easier target.

Trump also turned his head right before the shot tightening the target just enough or that bullet goes right into the back part of his skull.
