Any feed back on this make and model?

Seems the CX-9 is a better product

why so?
He may not realize the CX-9 has been replaced or he may have some other reason.
For what it is worth:

My wife and I chose the Palisade Calligraphy over the XC90.
One hundred percent satisfied.

Did you mean the XC90 (a Volvo) or the CX-90 the new Mazda?

The only drawback with the CX9 and even the CX90 is the smaller third row and cargo space compared to competitors’ models.

Wife has had two for work. I think they look great, plenty of features, no long term reliability results as we only used it a few months. Haven’t really used the third row but there’s always going to be a comfort/size trade off. If we had to go buy her a vehicle tomorrow I would likely get one. I prefer the higher trim level with the painted body molding

Mazda does a good job with driver experience too. They often just are a bit more fun as a driver than a lot of their closest peers.

I'm picking one up tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. It handled very well in the test drive, and the family of 5 was very comfortable in it.
The shifter was a bit strange but i'll get used to it.
The inline 6 was quick to get up to speed on the interstate.
Quiet cab
Surprisingly tight turning radius.
I'll be excited to get it on the Blue Ridge parkway this weekend.

Get a Mazda SUV and add Ferrari badges.

The newer Mazdas have great build quality and a luxury interior for a family car price, and none of that bullshite CVT crap

Great vehicle. Stacks up well to the other vehicles in the segment.

Rode in one as an uber…it was very nice. Pretty surreal though…the driver could speak ZERO english. How TF does someone who clearly can’t speak the native language end up driving such a nice ride? People buy a fleet of vehicles then have illegals uber for them? This was Orlando.

I used to have a 626 and you are correct. It was one of the best driving cars I ever owned.
