Not sure if LSU has had 3 former pitchers start a game in the MLB in the same day before.

You’re right, on Fri. 7/5.

But it has to be rare that this has happened historically, right?

Is Skenes starting? they have been giving him an extra day all year. they may be mixing in a rando.

I think they changed up his rotation since he’s playing in the all star game

I’m not sure it’s ever happened until this year. It’s pretty much just been Nola & Gausman for awhile.

They never aligned when Ranaudo was pitching. Who else is there?

Careers in MLB only aligned 95-97 & Byrd only started a few games

How would Alene’s, Housman, Nola stack up as three of your starters versus all other MLB top 3?

I don’t follow MLB as closely as I used to but I have to assume it would be in top 10 ??

IDK how their MLB careers overlapped but some others that might have been around at the same time:
Clay Parker
Mark Guthrie
Curtis Leskanic (reliever only?)
Brett Laxton
John O’Donoghue

Yes, he is starting his last start was on 6 days tlrather than 5. The Pirates are using a 6 man rotation when they are playing an extended period without an off day atm

I like where your head is at. I have Gausman and Nola as you do, with Skenes at 9 instead of 10.

We will be in Pittsburgh next weekend after the All Star break. We already have tickets to Sunday’s game. I think we will miss him pitching

Unlikely Skenes gets 10, but i was going big which is why i only bet $2. It's more of a just fun to bet something like that, don't expect to win kind of bet.

Nola and Skines have really good matchups today against teams who've been strking out a lot the last 2 weeks.

You are missing mike sirotka who shared starting dates in the mid 90’s with Ogea & McDonald separately

2002 tallet & Paul Byrd started on the same day. Ainswirth was off by 1 day

It all depends on how they allign their rotation after the break. You won't be able to predict this until then.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to give Paul as much rest as possible around the break. He is pitching today, then maybe Tuesday in the ASG. There is a chance they could hold him back until Sunday after the break. I hope you get lucky!
