My neighbor has a z06 Corvette with 130k+ miles from daily driven to work (he is contractor, so drives all over), but thats just crazy imo. My supercharged Tundra is my DD, but I have 3 mile round trip commute, so only have 36k miles on 5 year old truck.

Anyone have a interesting DD?

Yes

‘24 Grand Cherokee

But it’s not me: in the 90s I knew a guy who did instrumentation work as an independent subcontractor in plants and his work vehicle was a green ‘85 Corvette.

I did. In 3 years, I put 50K miles on it. Drove it to NY a couple of times and several other places. Tires were expensive AF and only lasted about 15-20k miles. Once my warranty expired, it seemed like everything started going wrong with it, and I was coming up on replacing brakes and rotors....which cost about $10k. I realized why people don't make those cars their daily drivers. In the end, with prices coming down quickly and inventory going up, I unloaded it. Had a blast with it, though, and don't regret a second of it.

My daily driver is a 2024 MINI Cooper JCW 1 To 6 Special Edition, the last of the MINIs with a six speed manual transmission, only 999 available worldwide.

I don't drive much, but my only car is a Subaru WRX.

I did take it to Omaha and back, and it surprised me at how comfortable and practical it was on such a long drive.

I bought a Tesla MP3 as a daily. Wanted something fast to drive around every day and my company pays me more to drive electric so it worked out.

My wife’s daily is a 600HP XM5 so we have a coupe of quick cars. I’ll probably eventually get something that 2 door and more of a toy but I don’t have room right now to have a 4th car.
