Damm boss not giving us Friday off. It feels anti-American
And I promise you I will be putting Ben Simmons level effort on Friday

I work tomorrow and Friday. I only take off on Thanksgiving and Christmas. GOD don't make them like our kind anymore.

Told my team it’s a phone day. Keep your teams up on your phone and check your email during the day. Other than that, enjoy the long weekend.

I've finished one project except for a final proofread in the morning.

I work from home, but we do have work on Friday.
I could've easily just taken off, but I let one of my employees take off and I'm covering for her.
ETA: I don't plan on doing much and my 2 weekly Friday meetings were canceled. It's probably going to be more of an on call type of day for me.

How are your offices not closed on 4th of July? It’s a major fkin holiday. I can see peeps in the medical industry.

We are a 24/7 365 shop, so some teams have to have some personnel available through the holidays, so we rotate them.
I got the 4th this year and a few others. I don't have to go to the office though unless something major goes on. I'll probably just check Teams on my phone periodically and work only if necessary
