There has to be some alternative to these ugly arse shoes that can be used for general yardwork. Something you can hose off when the day is done.
What you got?

I just got some decent quality “Jesus sandals” at the end of the summer at academy one year. They were on clearance and cheap as hell. They have lasted over a decade.

Crocs aren’t yard work shoes, bro.
Invest in a $30 boot/shoe dryer on Amazon, hose your shoes and never look back.

I use old waterproof golf shoes for yard work. The soles provide extra traction and you can hose them off and you are good to go. If you are not a golfer, just go to Academy or Dick’s and find a cheap pair that says they are waterproof.

Just internets waterproof shoes and there are plenty of options to find what you like. I have some of these I like having around to slip on for any purpose.

I picked up some Merrill water shoes with a vibram sole. They are ugly but very nice to work/ mow in and hose off. I wear them at the beach too

I’m rocking the Birkenstocks. Same material as crocs from what I can tell.

. Why spend more than $10 on shoes you're going to trash and turn green?

My yard shoes are whatever shoes I've retired from my regular wardrobe rotation.

This. Old gym shoes become yard shoes. Keep them in the garage and never take them inside. No need to hose off
