Jocelyn Nungaray’s mom ‘shocked’ by call from Trump minutes before he took debate stage

Alexis Nungaray’s best friend, Victoria Galvan, who was with the grieving mother when the two spoke, told The Post that Trump conveyed that there was no one he would’ve preferred to talk to before the debate than her.
“He was like, ‘I’m actually about to come on for a debate’ … He gave his condolences, and he said that he would be reaching back out to her,” Galvan said.
“He wanted to … say that he was praying for Alexis and that he’s been thinking about her and he wanted to reach out. He said that he was going to reach out in a couple days to her … I mean, she was really … we were all shocked,” Galvan said
.
I wonder what Brandon was thinking about 10 minutes before he walked on stage?

Which is truly an astonishing statement in defense of illegal aliens. Sure, it's true, but we have the power to deport illegal aliens and remove that threat completely. We aren't always able to identify this in family units before it's too late.
The situations aren't comparable, and honestly that answer from Biden is a tacit admission that he knows this is happening and he doesn't think it's a problem.

I don't know if he genuinely cares or not - I'm so cynical that I think there's an ulterior motive for every politician.
But this kind of stuff - reaching out to the families of victims (like he did with Laken Riley's family) are his best moments. Quite powerful really. And I wish he would do more of that instead of hang out with and talk about clowns like Steven Bannon and Michael Flynn.

Trump used to be well known for this kind of thoughtfulness before the left memory holed the first 65 years of his life. He still is known for it if you watch him rather than watching media report on him. For all his faults, he pretty clearly cares about people and has a sincerity that comes out when he's not being the ruthless businessman he is very well known for.

When he stopped his motorcade to get out and shake the hands of those firemen. They had dressed up in full suit and were saluting as he passed, he gets out and starts shaking hands taking pics, that was friggin awesome. That is my president.
