How could an entire Presidential campaign be replaced at this point?

Just think about replacing the critical campaign staff. Not only would that take time but it would also create insane conflict within the major party infrastructure. Then they would have to basically start over and then learn the national infrastructure of Biden's campaign, replace people, create new messaging, etc. And this is all before the first commercial.
And July begins shortly. So 4 full months to campaign.
Any replacement is a sacrificial lamb for down ballot purposes only. I just don't see how it's a viable option.

You think they care about voters? Lol they only care about ballots and ballot counters.

They know this country is divided and it doesn’t matter the candidate. Example being Joe Biden getting close to half the vote

Would be a monumental task for the Conservatives but for Democrats meh. Liberals always do what they’re told do Joe, Gavin, Gretchen. A cardboard cut out of a donkey. They vote for the D.

In the past there have been time were they had a contested convention. They didn’t know who the ticket was until after a number of voting rounds.

Logistically they may be able to pull it off. Politically you can't just admit your president is a failure four months before an election and expect to win with a new candidate who isn't somebody who is universally well known and well liked. I just don't see it.

But those campaigns hadn't been running a campaign nationally for a year+
This is restarting a moving train

Exactly

It would be very difficult, the logistics, the reorganization.
What other major campaigns have involved an election where the candidate has died or become incapacitated?
Wellstone comes to mind.

Yep. People aren’t just going to line up and pretend it’s 2008 because Gavin Newsome is in the race.

Even if Joe steps down you think Kamala is just gonna go down with him? It's gonna be ugly

Yea but then you will have the state Governor try to help to make sure he can be removed.
It reminds me of one of the states where Joe was too late to get on the ballot and the fricking Republican Governor did everything he could to try to get him on the ballot to make sure that the "voters" could have a fair election. It was absurd. I don't remember which state it was.

That’s not even considering the cabinet, campaign execs, etc

The question becomes which hurts the down ballot more: Biden going down in flames or replacing him with all the conflicts/issues

I already said a time ago if they replace Biden it will be someone they want to lose to remove them from future conflicts, like Kamala
Nobody likes her and this would kill her future

So if this situation was flipped, are you saying that conservatives wouldn’t all vote in lockstep for the replacement?

It’s too late. The media types wanted a change, but the Dems seem to be rallying around Biden today.
They were counting on Lawfare taking out Trump.

Not that hard for the dims. It would be the same handlers for Joe with either Mike Obama or Cumonher Harris.

I read a post on here earlier that stated that if it isn’t Kamala, then the money raised would be frozen.
I’m not sure that would be the case, but that would be a game changer.
