Lost a big Tiger fan yesterday

My family said goodbye to my 75 year old father yesterday. He raised my brother and I LSU fans since the day we were born, even though the two of us grew up in Minnesota. We loved LSU and Louisiana so much that my brother and I moved down south after high school and graduated from LSU. Things I was blessed to watch alongside him were Warren Morris’ home run, the ‘03 championship, the Bluegrass Miracle, and countless other Tiger games. He was an amazing fan and an even better father. We’ll miss you Pops.

I’m sorry for your loss. One of these days, I’ll be making a post like this.
Just curious, Is he from West Monroe?

Sorry about your dad, Brosef. He passed on enough wisdom to last you a lifetime.

Born in New Iberia, lived in Metairie, Zwolle, and various other places in Louisiana. Not West Monroe though

Man, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. All through my life, I have felt that living to 75 years old was a good, long life. Now that I am approaching my 60’s I no longer feel that way.
Sounds like you have lots of pleasant memories with your father. That’s about all we can hope to leave our loved ones.

Lost my mom on 6/24 as well 5 years ago, she was a proud Tiger. It sucks, cherish the good times. My mom claimed she was the first woman to wear blue jeans at the LSU student union lol
