Does that get us a 1st round compensatory pick like in the NFL?

I was watching "Bring It On: The one with Hayden Panties" and Swin Cash and Rihanna host the final cheer competition.

I’m surprised the WNBA has not picked her yet to be a coach or in Front Office.

I'd be shocked if the WNBA can pay her what she makes currently. Can't imagine her taking that type of demotion.

That said, what has she actually done thus far?

Why would she go work for the WNBA and probably make less than $100k/yr when she can work for the NBA and probably make over a million?

Swin Cash is a multiple NCAA, WNBA, and Olympic Champion. You usually don't get where she has gotten without being exceptional on and off the court. Most of us don't know what Swin Cash does on a daily basis so we fill that void with assumptions, and you know what they say about assumptions.

Does anyone know what any other team's #3 exec does on a daily basis? No, and we don't ask. We only care if they do something so well it stands out and we want to poach them for our team.

She’s a glue guy that Griffin trusts to bounce ideas off of. She gets a pass because of her wealth of knowledge, but other teams aren’t going to be knocking doors down to hire her away.

Y’all acting like Swin Cash is on Welfare. She is in the basketball Hall of Fame. She does not need money. If WNBA comes calling I bet she considers. Go look at her social media accounts. Lots of her posts have to do with women roles in sports not just Pelicans.

Means nothing as it relates to her role with the Pelicans. She's also made stupid commentary on the C Clark nonsense.

Less gas lighting, more winning.

99.9% chance she'd have to take a significant pay cut. You can't pay execs well when you're hemorraging $$$

Her role has been day-to-day logistics. The person who’s in charge of travel, sponsor relationships, charitable outings, etc. She’s not the GM and doesn’t handle player development.

I imagine her role will mostly remain in the capacity, but she’ll just oversee the operation.

If she’s good at those things and the players like her, you absolutely keep her around. Why is this bad?
