From NORML; I know someone will holler take it to the political board but most of you heads are on the OT.

In his veto message, the Governor said that he was rejecting the bill, in part, because he perceived it to be “an attempt to have Louisiana accept President Biden’s invitation to the states to join his soft-on-crime, no-consequences-for-criminals agenda.”

I hope Graves throws his hat in the ring next time. It would be poetic justice for him to unseat Landry.

I wonder if Landry will be able to get rid of the medical system in Louisiana

I believe it should be legal to begin with.. but is not the argument to get these minor things out of the system reducing cost associated with them..
spend the taxes on something else..

Yeah, he's just a different flavor of slimy cocksucker. So, frick him.

Didn't they also pass a bill legalizing drug paraphernalia? Did that one get vetoed as well.

Yeah! Like litigation stemming from displaying the Ten Commandments in classrooms.

I don’t entirely disagree

Landry has turned out to be an absolutely horrible governor. And honestly par for the course for this shite state

Usually it builds up to this point but Landry is getting straight to business on the suckage. It's honestly impressive.

I don’t believe the general public can “handle” weed

Gonna have to take the good conservative stuff with the bad.
I do not understand this fight against marijuana. I don’t even smoke and it’s stupid.
I’m perfectly fine with fighting against fentanyl and oxy. Something that people legit get hooked on and overdose from

Time will prove JBE to be a better governor than Landry.
I’m not even sure we’re going to need time for that one. JBE was willing to govern, eg championing abortion restrictions contrary to the party line. Landry is a self aggrandizing clown who cares about nothing beyond his future national platform prospects.
