For those of you who are programming workouts yourself. What are you using to track?

Scratch pad? Excel? Some app?

fitbod app is pretty good. think it's around $45 for a year subscription

let's you build workouts from scratch if you want or will suggest different workouts based on your goals.

can customize with just available equipment if working out in garage gym

It will aslo keep track of everything and send weekly, monthly & yearly reports on what you did

cheers

My mind and notes on my iphone. It's not hard to remember what you did last workout or last week etc. unless you are doing a shite ton of sets or some crazy elaborate workout. I like to keep it simple.

fitbod app

Can I program a week ahead with the app? Or will it only let you do it daily?

Used to plug everything in to google sheets on my phone. When I was doing my own programming I was mainly running the 5/3/1. Found some pretty good templates for it where you'd plug in your max lifts and it'd generate a few weeks of workouts. I'd save the excel file in google drive then open it with sheets at the gym.

The notes app on my phone. I don’t want too many functions. I just want to write it down and adjust as needed.

Good deal.

You can link it to strava to if you do any running, biking etc.

It's got a bunch of good features. It tracks everything and will show your progression with different lifts, my favorite thing is the recap reports it gives you for weekly, monthly, yearly.

cheers
